Preparations for the Westpac Northland Business Excellence Awards are well underway for 2014 and the NZ Chambers of Commerce Northland is delighted with the number and quality of entries received for the business categories awards.
Business Excellence Awards are run regionally throughout New Zealand, recognising and celebrating the business success of local companies. For businesses going through the awards process it is a way to identify strengths and challenges that exist and find new ways to deal with them through a renewed focus on their business. The process for the 2014 Northland business excellence awards entrants began back in April when entries opened, and includes a tight judging process, a networking evening for entrants and culminates in a black tie formal awards presentation and gala dinner event.
Nominations will be closing soon for The Northern Advocate & The Radio Network Business Hall of Fame Award which celebrates the achievement of a person within the Northland business community who has made significant contributions to the region by way of service to their industry and the greater Northland community. If you believe you know someone who deserves nominating please forward their details to the Chamber along with a short paragraph as to why they should be inducted before Friday 26th September.
The More FM Customer Choice Award nominations are also being taken. This award is presented to a business and their staff whose contributions and achievements stand out from the crowd. Businesses nominated for this award are selected by their loyal consumers for their outstanding achievements and standards of excellence. Awards Presentation & Gala Evening
The ‘Unlocking the Secrets to Success’ gala dinner will be hosted at Forum North and promises to deliver an enjoyable evening. The Westpac Northland Business Excellence Awards Gala Dinner is synonymous with quality and will showcase Northland’s finest in entertainment, exceptional local cuisine and wine. Along with the anticipation and excitement of the awards presentations, this event offers plenty of opportunity for networking before, during and after the formalities of the event.
